Overview

The Senior Project Manager of Innovation will conduct end to end project management of multiple projects and may also manage sub-components of large programs. Lead cross functional teams to complete projects or program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget. Identify key internal/external stakeholders necessary for project completion. Define project/program scope and objectives, identify resources, and establish master timeline for deliverables. This role involves both product and project management, so it requires operational excellence and technical fluency, but building great relationships is also key.

Responsibilities

  • Organize interdepartmental activities to ensure completion of assigned projects within scope, on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Identify project risks and prepare mitigations and contingency plans
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project milestones and deliverables
  • Identify and communicate resource constraints to senior management
  • Ensure team conflicts are resolved in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare project updates for governance meetings and clearly communicate status in written documents and presentations
  • Drive the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) process for all Stream products.
  • Set strategic direction and translate cross-divisional, integrated product/program strategy into an efficient executable plan ensuring rapid and effective decisions can be made to increase proof of concept (POC).
  • Structure and facilitate key gate reviews – release plans, release readiness, go-to-market, etc.
  • Strong product/solution quality advocate.
  • Interface with management and influence decision-making, monitor slippage, gaps, risks or areas for innovation/acceleration and develop strategies to realign and navigate the team through internal governance for projects.
  • Identify and drive innovative process improvements with significant organizational impact.
  • Identify and assist with training best practices, methodologies, tools and emerging trends
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create innovative, clean user experiences across desktop, mobile, apps, and events

Qualifications

  • Four to nine (49) years of related experience in Project Management lifecycle activities.
  • Requires knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Some travel will be required (1-2 times per year)

  • Effective communication skills
  • Comfortable and effective in working in teams and across functional groups that vary from fundamentally technical to non-technical
  • Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines
  • Superior negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Advocates for the user
  • Thinks in terms of mobile user experience
  • Highly detailed and has an inherent talent for identifying simple, clear solutions
  • Manage project flow and prioritize projects with business partners
  • Develop comprehensive project work breakdown structures and schedules
  • Utilize standard personal productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Project®, Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®, SharePoint®) for project planning, control and reporting
  • Has sense of humor

  • Skilled in mobile application development
  • Familiar with UX/UI concepts
  • Strong presentation skills, strong material design skills
  • Experience in the Texas Energy market
  • Experience in wireless industry
  • Experience in the network marketing industry
  • Experience in home services / Internet of Things (IoT)
