Overview

The Commercial Sales Analyst will ensure the Commercial Department processes contracts for new customers completely and accurately.  The Commercial Sales Analyst will mitigate the risk of switching customers errantly or processing enrollments with an incomplete contract.  Their role will also be to work very closely with the Credit Analyst and serve as their operational backup in their absence.  He or she will monitor and recommend improvements to individual and departmental functionalities to ensure efficiency and success of the organization as a whole. The Sales Analyst will also perform analytics to assist in decision making for the direction of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure completion and accuracy of new commercial contracts
  • Affirm agents have satisfied credit requirements for new commercial deals
  • Apply renewed contract information to accounts in our current Customer Information System
  • Act as backup for Sales Analyst in assigning leads to sales agents, performing frontline credit checks, verifying Letters of Credit, and communicating with the Credit Manager to determine deposit amounts
  • Perform monthly lead analytics and provide to Director in order to make business decisions
  • Conduct extensive system testing for all new system implementations.
  • Create and assign renewal lead lists

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA preferred)
  • 1-2 years post college business experience (also willing to accept internship experience during college)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc) and Information Technology
  • Team player with strong verbal and written communication and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent judgment, discretion and ability to appropriately handle privileged and confidential information and highly sensitive documents
  • Attention to detail while being adaptable and coachable
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and manage deadlines efficiently
  • Must have ability to travel regionally, nationally and internationally
