We’re looking for a unicorn–a skilled web programmer with an appreciation for good design and stellar attention to detail. OK that’s just two things, so maybe we’re just looking for a centaur. Either way, you need to be a living legend when it comes to coding beautiful, user-friendly, responsive websites, webpages, emails and mobile-based applications. Collaborating with our design team, you’ll turn wireframes and mockups into web pages and e-mails.

    • Write markup to develop appealing, intuitive interfaces for web, mobile and e-mail properties.
    • Edit markup of existing web and e-mail properties to bring design and functionality up to current best practices
    • Build cascading style sheets that are consistent across all browsers
    • Ensure that web pages are coded to optimize search engine indexing and ranking
    • Code with modern web design and development best practices, including responsive layouts and scalable vector and/or Retina graphics
    • Create mockups and prototypes on tight deadlines.
    • Apply our visual brand standards across all web and e-mail designs
    • Produce and maintain functional requirement documentation
    • Work closely with designers, copywriters and project managers for guidance and review.
    • Other related duties as assigned

    • 3-5 years’ experience with both front-end and back-end technologies
    • Superior knowledge of current web programming languages, including HTML, Javascript, CSS3, PHP
    • Proficient with development tools like Bootstrap, jQuery, JS Frameworks
    • Experience developing for Sitecore and .NET environments preferred
    • Mastery of design fundamentals, including grid layout systems, typography, color theory
    • Understanding of and ability to explain principles of user-centric design
    • Strong knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser issues
    • Familiar with tracking & reporting analytics
    • Experience with Adobe design apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
    • Able to work in both Apple and Windows operating systems
    • Clear, concise oral and written communication.
    • Attention to detail
    • Able to occasionally work flexible hours; overtime and weekends may be required
