    Our growing company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and quick to market environment. In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering a wide variety of technology related projects and initiatives based on business need.  The successful candidate will manage cross-functional project teams comprised of IT professionals and Business members and will manage and coordinate required deliverables with our external vendor partners.

    Responsibilities

    Lead, manage and execute all aspects of the defined project delivery framework and best practices

    • Perform project budget, cost and schedule estimation activities
    • Create detailed project success metrics, schedules and implementation plans
    • Follow appropriate project scope adherence and change management practices
    • Communicate project status, risks, issues etc. to project Stakeholders and project team as appropriate
    • Drive decisions, collaborate, liaise and effectively manage communications between the user community, IT department and all business units, project participants and vendor partners
    • Monitor project budget, track progress on deliverables, mitigate risk/issues for all project resources
    • Schedule, prepare and conduct efficient project meetings: Project kick-off, status updates, retrospectives, daily standups etc.
    • Work with vendor and resource managers to staff projects appropriately
    • Ensure defined project success criteria are met
    • Obtain feedback on PMO processes and project execution for continual process improvements
    • Maintain document repository for project deliverables and approvals

    Perform release and vendor management activities

    • Manage vendor relationship, budgets and associated work streams with assigned vendors
    • Conduct weekly meetings with vendor resources and internal stakeholders/technical teams
    • Manage product backlog and facilitate prioritization
    • Conduct quarterly vendor assessments and business reviews
    • Request, review and obtain approvals on vendor SOW’s and LOE’s
    • Organize, schedule and track monthly release cycles

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 10 years IT delivery experience, 5-7 years project management
    • PMP Preferred with experience and flexibility in managing projects using multiple methodologies and best practices i.e. Waterfall, Agile, hybrid, Kanban, SDLC
    • IT project delivery experience such as website design, mobile app, IT infrastructure, data migration, Customer management systems, systems integrations, product lifecycle/enhancements, SaaS/on premise technologies
    • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with diverse audiences
    • High level of proficiency and professionalism in meeting management skills for a wide variety of audiences and objectives
    • Experienced knowledge using MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Online, Visio, Jira, MS Teams, other project management and defect management software preferred including JIRA, HPQC/ALM, Visual Studios Online, SharePoint
    • Proven experience with building full project plans and schedules, business cases, budgets, business and technical requirements analysis, release management/implementation plans
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams concurrently, multitask effectively
    • Strong knowledge of system testing processes, software quality assurance and change management best practices and methodologies
    • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
    • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
    • Highly self-motivated and directed.  Excels in collaborative environment with the ability to help drive decisions and gain consensus
    • Ability to effectively prioritize, manage change and execute tasks while under pressure

    Working Conditions

    • Occasional evening and weekend work for releases or support
    • Some travel may be required
