  • Overview

    The Senior Project Manager - Marketing manages and organizes all projects and marketing deliverables of the marketing team and manages the project management team. Marketing Project Managers are responsible for implementing the project management processes for the Marketing department and managing marketing projects in support of the company’s strategic priorities including campaigns, programs and events for both internal and external clients.

     

    The Senior Project Manager - Marketing is responsible for understanding the needs of each project, prioritizing delivery dates, effectively communicating during each phase, scheduling post mortems, reviewing data and analytics and coordinates the necessary tasks to other team members with the Traffic Manager to successfully complete the project on time.

    Responsibilities

    • Scoping and understanding the needs of each project to effectively prioritize delivery dates
    • Understands the workings of all departments and project needs
    • Handles all incoming project requests, including a download meeting to understand needs of the project
    • Works with BA to establish priorities and delivery dates for all projects based on bandwidth and business objectives
    • Manages and organizes all marketing deliverables to ensure quality and fulfillment of client asks
    • Manages the day-to-day communications and assignments with the Creative Services team contractors 
    • Ensures timely delivery of all project deliverables
    • Oversees all Marketing ticket systems
    • Manages the Project Manager and Traffic Coordinator
    • Manages vendor negotiation and contracts for projects on an as needed basis

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field
    • 5 to 7 years of project management experience; PMP certification required unless trained and/or managed by a PMP certified Project Manager
    • Executes own activities with generally-defined goals and minimal supervision
    • Works within a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional team with respect towards others and focused on successfully meeting team goals
    • Appropriately influences cross-functional team members without formal authority or management control
    • Establishes high level of trust and credibility internally, with independent business owners, and vendors
    • Strong skills in the following areas:

      • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
      • Self-Starter
      • Highly detailed and organized

    Working Conditions:

     

    Occasional travel may be needed one to two times per year. Monthly releases require late night hours outside of normal business hours.
