  • Overview

    The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis reports to the Vice President of Planning and Risk and assists in the execution of both formal and informal responsibilities delegated by Stream’s CFO, assigned by executive management or arising in collaboration with other Stream functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead development of 5-year budget and rolling 12-month projections;
    • Perform monthly variance analysis against budget and prior projections;
    • Ensures effective understanding, analysis, and reporting of key metrics;
    • Report on the financial considerations of competitors and the marketplace;
    • Maintain financial models for variety of M&A transactions, strategy projects and capital investments;
    • Coordinate and manage due diligence for contemplated transactions;
    • Actively participate in the decision-making process relative to strategy and implementation;
    • Set expectations and coach all team members in terms of job responsibilities and career development;
    • Performs other duties and assignments as may be requested

    Qualifications

    • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy and attentiveness to details;
    • 5 to 8 years of prior energy industry or commodity industry experience;
    • Enthusiastic team player and work ethic;
    • Strong planning system skills and experience with multi-dimensional systems such as Hyperion, Adaptive Planning, etc.
    • Proven records of complex modeling skill sets;
    • High level of motivation and can-do attitude in a high-performance environment;
    • Problem solving aptitude;
    • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge and application skills;
    • Exceptional personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness;
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and preferably MBA in Finance degree.
