  • Overview

    The Event Coordinator will be responsible for working with internal departments to deliver world class field conference and training events.


    • Provide support and planning for field conference meetings and training events
    • Define company brand and vision through field events
    • Work closely with the Event Manager to coordinate events from inception to execution
    • Negotiate contracts to mitigate risk and stay within budget
    • Coordinate and oversee event logistics such as rooming, food and beverage, talent/entertainment bookings, and décor
    • Maintain online registration websites and registration processes
    • Coordinate event staffing needs as well and related internal communications
    • Work closely with the marketing and communication department on all event branding and communications plans
    • Work closely with field development to support event strategies and training opportunities
    • Schedule post-event practices including debrief meetings, distributing/analyzing surveys, and helping with budget reconciliation process
    • Manage shipping logistics
    • General Administrative Support
    • Collaborate with Stream Associates and represent Stream in an appropriate manner


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Two (2) years’ experience in event planning and meeting services, hospitality, production, themed events, dinners and entertainment, and hotel and meeting arrangements 
    • Must be able to travel 40% including nights and weekends.
    • Two (2) years’ experience in contract negotiation
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
    • Excellent human relations skills
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Ability to work under strict deadlines and to utilize problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of and skill in using social media platforms
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed or directed
    • Ability to travel for business and training
